Curriculum
Our Parish School of Religion strives to provide a religious education program that accomplishes the following Mission:
• to teach children what a Catholic believes, prays and how a Catholic should live
• to involve children in the life of the parish in its worship, service and community
• to assist parents as they pass on their Catholic faith to their children
Preschool/Kindergarten offers age appropriate curriculum including arts, crafts and interactive play to foster the awareness of God’s loving presence in their lives.
Class: Sunday 9:20 A.M. St. Rita School
Grade Two prepares children for the reception of Reconciliation and First Eucharist
Class: Sunday 10:30 A.M. St. Rita School
Grades Three-Six each highlight a particular aspect of our Catholic identity and heritage.

Junior High Program (Grades 6-8)
Classes prepare students on their journey toward Confirmation
Class: Thursdays 6:30-7:30 pm St Rita School
Youth Ministry Program (Grades 9-10)
Provide the continuing journey toward Confirmation
Classes: Sunday P.M. Fall and Spring
Reception of Confirmation in fall of sophomore year. Location and dates to be announced in parish bulletin.
Youth Ministry Teen Prayer Team prepares and presents prayer experiences for our Religious Education
Classes held on Sunday Mornings
Youth Ministry Team
An outgrowth of our Youth Ministry Program explores and provide experiences that promote involvement in the worship, service, social and community aspect of the parish.
Family Worship/Children’s Homily
Liturgies for family worship are planned throughout the year to foster a better understanding of liturgy and an experience of church community.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word
Offers the children of our parish an opportunity to celebrate the Liturgy/Gospel suitably adapted to make it relevant to their lives and experiences.
Occurs the 1st and 3rd Sunday during Liturgy
Adult Education
as Catholics living in an age which challenges and questions our Faith; we must continually avail ourselves of opportunities to enrich our faith spiritually and intellectually. Our parish offers different programs throughout the year including courses in Sacred Scripture.
